Based on the new fire standards, the Fire Hazard Severity Zone Maps released by California in 2022 (www.osfm.fire. ca.gov/fire-hazard-severity-zones-maps-2022), we realized the need for fireproof products. Greenfield Metal steel products meet the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Class A Fire Rating Zero Flame Spread. Neither vinyl nor wood can meet these stringent standards.

Our galvanized steel and aluminum products are an approved alternative to masonry and courtyard walls, trash enclosures and trail fencing. Several cities throughout California are no longer accepting wood or vinyl fencing due to a lack of strength, fire zoning, lifespan, durability, and maintenance. Understanding the industry, we developed products that meet these stricter requirements. Our trail fence can be purchased hot dipped with a 60-year lifespan with no coatings. Our privacy wall is offered with Zincalume steel coating with a 25-year warranty. Our products are 100% recyclable and offer a 40% cost reduction compared to masonry with a faster installation time frame.
